Shoalwater respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and environmental data. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and secure data:

• Data Collection: We collect rainfall, flow, and quality data via IoT sensors; user account info (e.g., name, email); and activity logs from site visits or platform interactions.

• Data Use: Data is used to verify environmental impact, issue Storm Water Credits (SWCs), and support token operations, governance, and reporting.

• Donated Data: If you opt in to donate your data, it may be tokenized and placed into the Impact Pool to support clean water projects and underserved communities.

• Security: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in secure databases (InfluxDB, PostgreSQL). Device-level integrity checks are employed.

• Sharing: We do not sell personal data. We may share anonymized environmental data with NGO partners or for public dashboards.

• Your Rights: You may request data deletion, export, or correction at any time by contacting Privacy@Shoalwater.Earth
